Wivenhoe Town Council submitted its Neighbourhood Plan to Colchester Borough Council in September 2016.
CBC did not accept that the Basic Conditions had been satisfied.
In an attempt to address this objection, the WNP Review group undertook further work which included submitting the WNP to the Neighbourhood Planning Independent Examiner Referral Service (NPIERS) and fine tuning the draft in response to comments received from NPIERS.
At the time of writing December 2017) the revised plan is waiting to be reviewed once more.
